…93 days to go: Countdown for the XIII. Summer-Paralympics in BEIJING 2008

Exactly 100 days before the opening ceremony in Beijing will go off solemnly, the new Paralympic website has been unveiled: An – from the Olympic Games - independent place for reporting especially about the Paralympic Games. Interviews, photos, results and actual reports are presented here for the large amount of in the Paralympics interested people. http://en.paralympic.beijing2008.cn/index.shtml is the address of the site with this information on the XIII. Furthermore we eagerly await the concrete nominations for the team ‘BEIJING2008’, containing the names of the sportsmen, who are part of the Paralympic Team Austria: The qualification process is still in progress because not all of the available slots are fixed. On July, 7th the team members will be publicly announced and from that time on, there are nine weeks to go for the flight to Beijing/China. By then, the sportive preparation is getting up to full speed and the athletes will do their best to reach their goals.

For this time, the Austrian Paralympic Committee wishes a good time for the preparations of the sportsmen: All the best and good luck!
