Meeting of the European Paralympic Committee
From June, 7th to 8th the Executive Board-Meeting of the European Paralympic Committee/EPC took place in Madrid/ESP. The Secretary General of the Austrian Paralympic Committee, Petra Huber, has been invited to this meeting to comment on the further procedure of opening the Headquarters in Vienna.
From July, 1st, the permanent office will be set in Vienna, Opernring 1 and in November 2008 will follow the official opening ceremony. Sincere thanks from the European Paralympic Committee were spoken out on Federal Chancellor and Sports Minister Dr. Alfred Gusenbauer and the sports section for their great sponsorship. With their assistance in building up the Headquarters in Vienna, it will be possible to concentrate the resources of the European Paralympic Movement on one place and to grant Austria a special significance.
