PEKING 2008 - a retrospective
Looking back to the remarkable XIII. Summer-Paralympic Games in Beijing, we can take a successful stock of the amazing results. Four gold, one silver and one bronze medal were captured by outstanding Austrian athletes. As we knew from Torino, the Austrian team could celebrate their achievements in the Austria House, together with members of the delegation, dignitaries, fans and family - and again that institution was a great success for all visitors.
But now, the Austrian Paralympic Committee has to look forward to work for the next Winter-Paralympic Games in Vancouver, which are set for March 12 to 21, 2008.
